This week, in Romans 3, we tackle one of the most difficult passages in the book because of how it describes humanity – namely, that we are the worst. Paul leaves no room for boasting or even positive self-talk in his long list of Old Testament quotes. But, his point isn’t to tear us down or make us feel worthless. Rather, he points us towards the only one who can bring us the hope, goodness, and transformation we all long for.
