Confronting Genesis
This series marries themes from Rebecca McLaughlin’s book, Confronting Christianity, to an exegetical walk through the first 12 chapters of Genesis. We touch on issues like gender, sexuality, science, suffering, evil, and more, wrestling with questions like:
Can Christianity and science coexist? Doesn’t modern science eliminate the possibility of God and the need for superstition?
Can “basic human dignity” exist without faith? Why do we defend the rights of the poor, the marginalized, and the powerless?
What does the Bible *really* say about sexuality? Isn’t a biblical view of gender outdated?
Each sermon also includes a live text-in Q&A following the message.
