Advent 2021
Christmas is the most idyllic season for many of us. We have traditions, decorations, and environments that boost us up and give us a sense of wonder. But for the Christian, Christmas is never disconnected from real life. That’s because the coming of Jesus Christ perfectly overlaps with our everyday. In the biblical story, the intersection of Advent joy with real life leads people to sing. This Advent series, we’ll look at how the Gospel of Luke records four instances of responsive singing that come from those in need. We’ll see how the arrival of Jesus Christ as Savior and King affects our real life needs, and we’ll join the biblical characters in responding through praise.
