Labor Day Party
1 September 2019 | 3:00pm - 7:00pm
Don’t miss this family friendly end-of-summer celebration! We’ll have tons of activities for adults and kids, including corn hole, jumbo Jenga, spike ball, henna, face-painting, music, and a movie for kids. Fill your bellies with a food truck, drinks, and dessert. We’re even raffling off gift cards for some of our favorite neighborhood restaurants. Bonus: everything’s FREE.
You can register in advance for your food ticket, or at the event!
Intersect: Faith and Culture
6 September 2019 | 7:00pm - 8:30pm
A lecture exploring the intersection between Faith and Culture.
Rebecca McLaughlin, author of Confronting Christianity: 12 Hard Questions for the World’s Largest Religion, will give a talk and a live text-in Q&A session. The book, released earlier this year, was recently featured on TED's summer reading list.
8 September 2019 | 5:00pm
Join us for our first “official” service! We’ll have a special time of prayer and kick-off our Fall series on the book of Genesis. We’ll see how the first book of the Bible speaks to major questions of life and faith, exploring how Christianity understands human purpose, meaning, suffering, gender, sexuality and evil.
Catch us after service as we walk to Optimism for dinner, drinks, socializing, and celebrating the Launch! Optimism is kid- and pet-friendly!
Registration NOT required.
